Our study groups for Lent will meet each Wednesday at 11.15am in the John English Room and at 7.30pm in the Vicarage or you can join us by commenting here on-line at any time, but especially during the study group meeting times. For a copy of the booklet, contact us at the parish office.

Am looking forward to it - the online mode.
I really enjoyed the first week's instalment- thought provoking and challenging. Meg Warner is a very engaging writer
On reading this first session,I found looking back on my journey. Plans I had, but on reflection not quite what God had in mind, or even has in mind. I connected with Meg Warners account of her own journey.
I must admit the passage from Genesis has always puzzled me., Abraham does the wrong thing, but poor Pharoah receives the punishement! However it is reassuring to know that God chooses ’normal’ humans with all our faults to do His work. That God is always with us i our wanderings off the path and despite our many faults.
I look forward to next week. It is good to be able to follow online while I am in the UK.
As I read Chap 1 I realised how much I'd forgotten regarding Abraham's journeys and life, so have some work to do there. Liked the way that Meg blended her life into the chapter, and for me in the past Lent has been a time that one can go on a spiritual journey - though one year it was a very barren time.
